Dishing On The LPs: Recycled Records

It’s official. We’re going vintage. We’re on a mission to bring vinyl records back. Remember them? Well, we do and we miss them… And not just to listen to. In comparison to those shiny, tiny boxes we listen to now, records are much cooler… Yes, we know MP3 players are compact and portable, but those giant LPs had a sort of captivating quality in all of their vinyl-y ridge-y goodness. They were fun to look at as well as touch. Like (bad pun alert) a symphony of the senses. Almost good enough to eat off of… Right?? If we didn’t think so before, we definitely do now.
Many companies are breathing new life into vinyl records by recycling them into snack trays and bowls. (A quick Internet search will turn up a load of them.) The sites we found even allowed us to pick a genre (we went more in the direction of the Duran Duran listening preference than the Buddy Holly one), but regardless to what the labels say, we’re already sold on the wow-factor of serving chips from an LP. So much, in fact, that we’re planning an 80’s themed party where we can use - and show off - our new bowls. We’re hoping to attract at least one guest who is hungry like, um, a wolf.

Hi there, not sure that this is true, but thanks
