The Ultimate Self-Portrait: DNA portraits

Okay, this is just too cool not to share. If you happen to be looking for an original one-of-a-kind piece of art, there are art galleries that will make an original work of art from your actual DNA. Talk about stylizing your place with a portrait that’s literally a reflection of you!
What’s really great about this whole concept is that you can take something that’s already truly unique (your own DNA) and tweak it further it to express your own personal sense of style, create a specific mood you want your décor to convey, or establish a dramatic focal point in the room where it will hang.
It’s really easy to do. After you choose the size of your portrait, its configuration and your preferred color palette, the gallery sends you a DNA collection kit, which includes a swab for the inside of your cheek. You use the swab to collect cheek cells (which include your DNA) and then send it back to the gallery.
Not sure that your DNA is your best side? There’s always finger painting.

I think this is really, really cool.
